MarketingProfs – Online Training, Workshops, Content Creation

The Work: Over the last 11 years, I’ve worked with MarketingProfs in almost every way imaginable. As a content creator, as a speaker, as a consultant, as an instructor, as a workshop facilitator. Additionally, I was one of the first writers for MarketingProfs’ Daily Fix blog way back in 2006.

My Role: I’ve worn many hats in working with MarketingProfs since 2006. I’ve written many articles and created many digital assets. I’ve spoken at MarketingProfs’ events, I’ve facilitated workshops for MarketingProfs’ clients and have provided one-to-one consultations for MarketingProfs’ members at company events. I’ve even served as an editor for MarketingProfs, and have created custom deliverables for MarketingProfs clients such as Microsoft and Delphi.

The Results: Since we are now in our 12th year of working together, I think it’s safe to say that MarketingProfs has been thrilled with the results they’ve seen from my work. But I did want to share one example of how I delivered exceptional results for MarketingProfs.

Over the years I’ve been hired by MarketingProfs multiple times to create custom webinars for the company. Being competitive, when I started working on my first webinar with MarketingProfs, I wanted to know what was a ‘good’ approval rating was for webinars. I was told that 90% was good, anything above that was excellent, that 100% had never happened. Each time I created a webinar I told MarketingProfs that my goal was a 100% approval rating. Each time they reminded me it had never happened, but in 2014 I finally broke through, and achieved the first 100% approval rating for a MarketinProfs webinar!

Working with good friends such as Ann Handley and Kerry Gorgone at MarketingProfs has been a joy and blessing. Here’s to another 11 years of successful collaborations!

Testimonials from MarketingProfs: Over the last 11 years, my two most frequent contacts for working with MarketingProfs have been the company’s Chief Content Officer, Ann Handley, and Kerry Gorgone, Director of Strategy, Training. Here’s a testimonial from each of them:

“What I love about Mack Collier as a speaker at our events is that our audiences simply love him. Mack has a very direct, no-BS style. He doesn’t give a lot of theory or offer abstract concepts. Instead, he speaks directly about what works in social media and offers concrete ideas that attendees can take home immediately and implement.” – Ann Handley

“MarketingProfs hired Mack to facilitate an advanced branding workshop for a corporate client. It was our first time delivering the workshop, and we needed a facilitator with extensive experience working with companies to cultivate brand admiration and advocacy. Mack did not disappoint! He took a complex set of materials and added practical industry examples designed to appeal to this specific client, and worked hard to convey high-level concepts in a way marketing professionals could immediately apply in their day to day work. We’ll definitely work with Mack again!” – Kerry Gorgone
